Taylor University Euler Science Complex

Taylor University Euler Science Complex

The $21.3 million Greg and Mary Fran Euler Science Complex at Taylor University is an expansion of the Nussbaum Science building. The existing 55,000-square-foot building will become a 191,000-square-foot facility. The new three-story laboratory and classroom addition with a lower level basement will be connected to the existing building by an atrium. The atrium will consist of skylights and energy-efficient roof materials which will allow natural light and heat to penetrate the building, providing noteworthy energy savings.

LEED Silver certification is targeted for the facility. Sustainable components under consideration include water usage reduction, energy optimization of building systems, construction waste management, use of recycled materials, and lighting control systems. Construction began in June 2010 and is scheduled for completion by summer 2012. Check out other college projects that we have worked on.
